introduction and flower related items :D

hi! well let's see for starters i am calling myself "ely" which is short for my middle name actually. its very weird because my family calls me by my middle name and my friends or school call me by my first name. now if it was switched around it would confuse me but so far its normal too me to others not so much. so this blog will be about anything really, i haven't really found like a main purpose except i want to share things i like and things that go on in my life. if you are wondering what my blog title means, "ely la floresita", it means "ely the flower or little flower". very creative. i know! :D but yes my major is spanish originally it was a thousand other majors but i am sticking to spanish i want to know more about one of the languages i know and the culture or what not. i'm considering minoring in art history but it might mean more than 4 years in college and if you are in college than you know how it must feel to get college over with! don't get me wrong its a wonderful experience but so very stressing, well if you care about your grades i suppose. i can't how partying can be stressing but hey i could be wrong.

anyways today i went shopping for an outfit for this quincianera i am going to this weekend. it should be interesting since my cousin chose black for her dress. normally its supposed to be pink but she wants to be different. breaking traditions. very different. do i agree? well will see now i have seen hot pink, yellow, light green, baby blue quincianera dresses . . . but have i seen black? no no i have not. but i'm sure she will rock that black gown! i found an outfit i'll take a picture of it this saturday and post it. i like the outfit alot, it is a mini black skirt with a flowy top. sort of. (i know i'm very bad at describing things). trust me it is not trashy but classy! :D but below are pictures of all the flowery things i found this week.

-the first picture are flower-hair-accesories which i got from forever 21.
-the second picture is a cute vintage-y flower necklace which i also got at forever 21.
-the third picture are boxes with flowers on them, which my mother gave to me weeks ago because she knows i love flowers, right now they are holding pictures.
-the fourth picture is a cute box i found at michaels craft store for $5! its so cute. it doesn't have anything in it yet but i think it will be a memory box i am not sure.

























































i have been going to michaels three times in a row now. you see i have recently discovered i love scrapbooking. i am currently working on 2 scrapbooks. 1 - is for the summer of 09. 2 - is my high school scrapbook which i never made when i was in high school or soon after i graduated. its turning out really cute and now i need more ideas for future scrapbooks. hmmm. . ..

i will think of more ideas soon but for today this should be enough blogging. :D
